2014-2015 Racing Season Nomination Form
2. Final division allocation will be at the discretion of the Racing Executive.
Please tick which division you are nominating in and enter the total amount (for all entries) at the bottom of the form. You must confirm your acceptance of the CYCSA 2014-15 Sailing Instructions for your entry to be valid.
ALL AMOUNTS ARE INCLUSIVE OF GST.
The onus of correct registration and series nomination is with the racing skipper.
All crew shall be a member of the CYCSA Racing Association after an initial three races. YA membership is automatic with CYCSA Racing Membership. Skippers are responsible for informing the Race Office of new crew members (see CYCSA Sailing Instructions 2.9). Any boat failing to observe this rule may be subject to protest.
Yacht owners or skippers are to submit their signed SR Equipment Compliance form (Category 3 and/or Category 6 safety form, as required) prior to the start of each season. Skippers are responsible for ensuring the SR Equipment Compliance form is properly completed and that any changes to the boat, its equipment or crew does not invalidate the compliance. A boat may be protested if it is non-compliant. It is not necessary to have a CYCSA Racing Association Safety Officer present when the form is completed, however boats will be spot checked during the season for compliance. Any boat that does not comply will be subject to protest.
It is compulsory for each boat to have at least one crew member at the briefing on Wednesday 8th October 2014 at the CYCSA commencing 1900. Failure to attend will render the entry not accepted.
Series nominations received after 5.00pm on the 1st October 2014 will incur a late fee of $100.
Boat owners that wish to develop their own class racing are asked to contact the Racing Manager. If there are a minimum of five entrants who will commit to race regularly, a separate division will be considered.
